MANILA, Dec 8 (Reuters) - Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co (PLDT), the country's most valuable firm, will sign on Tuesday a loan agreement worth 7 billion pesos ($152 million) with a group of local banks, its president said.
PLDT President Napoleon Nazareno told reporters proceeds from the loan will be used to partly fund next year's capital expenditure estimated to reach over 28 billion pesos. ($1 = 46 pesos)
