DUBLIN, Dec 11 (Reuters) - The volume of Ireland's retail sales fell 0.3 percent in October from September to stand 9.1 percent lower on the year, provisional figures from the Central Statistics Office showed on Friday.
Final figures for September showed the volume of retail sales was up 1.7 percent on the month to give a 9.8 percent decline on an annual basis. That was slightly less than earlier provisional data showing a 10 percent decline on the year.
Economists expect retail sales to fall 13.3 percent this year, according to the latest Reuters poll.
