HONG KONG, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Trading in shares of CITIC Resources Holdings Ltd, China's sixth-largest oil producer by output, was suspended on Tuesday, the Hong Kong exchange said.
The suspension was pending an announcement in relation to a discloseable transaction, the company said.
No further details were immediately available.
CITIC resources said earlier this year that it aimed to buy oil and resources assets in China, Central Asia and Africa. .
