Nigeria consumer inflaion falls to 12 pct in Dec

ABUJA, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Nigeria's consumer inflation fell to 12 percent year-on-year in December from 12.4 percent the previous month, the National Bureau for Statistics said on Tuesday.

Growth in food prices, which form the bulk of the inflation index basket in Africa's most populous country, rose to 13.6 percent year-on-year from 13.5 percent in November.
