JAKARTA, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Indonesia's finance ministry raised a total of 4.2 trillion rupiah ($448.5 million) from sales of treasury bills and bonds through an auction on Tuesday, beating its target of 4 trillion rupiah, the ministry said.
The finance ministry planned to raise 175.1 trillion rupiah of debt this year to repay maturing bonds and help plug a budget deficit seen at 1.6 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
The ministry also said it plans a sukuk auction on February 16 to raise 1 trillion rupiah.
