MOSCOW, March 10 (Reuters) - Russian carmaker AvtoVAZ is aiming to produce around 1.2 million cars a year with partners Renault and Nissan by 2020, three sources familiar with the situation said on Wednesday.
The Lada-maker, 25 percent owned by France's Renault, is forecasting sales of just 400,000 cars this year following its near collapse in 2009.
