HARTFORD FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP INC, $28.94, up 6.2 pct
The company late Tuesday said it would offer shares and notes, as the insurer seeks to repay $3.4 billion in taxpayer money it received under the U.S. government's bailout of the financial system.
CITIGROUP INC, $4.09, up 1 pct
The company's life insurance unit, Primerica Inc, filed with U.S. regulators for an initial public offering of up to about $234 million.
LSI CORP, $6.36, up 9.3 pct
The company raised its first-quarter earnings and revenue outlook, citing renewed strength in demand from corporate customers.
BLACKROCK INC, $223.16, up 5.1 pct
Credit Suisse upgraded the company to 'outperform' from 'neutral,' citing higher earnings expectations from assets under management.
EASTMAN CHEMICAL CO, $62.54, up 0.5 pct
The company will acquire Genovique Specialties Corp for an undisclosed amount.
