MELBOURNE, March 31 (Reuters) - JPMorgan is advising Australia's Macarthur Coal on an approach from a third party to take a controlling stake, two sources with direct knowledge of the subject said on Wednesday.
Trading in Macarthur shares was halted on Wednesday pending an announcement by the company on an approach by a third party for a controlling interest, Macarthur said.
