Fujitsu: ex-president has asked Fujitsu to sue execs

TOKYO, April 7 (Reuters) - Fujitsu Ltd, Japan's largest IT services firm, said former president Kuniaki Nozoe, who has been embroiled in a dispute over his dismissal last year, has asked the company to sue some executives.

The request to Fujitsu auditors that they make a decision in 60 days is a notice that typically precedes a shareholder lawsuit, company spokesman Makoto Koshi said.

Fujitsu has been under scrutiny since announcing last month that it had dismissed Nozoe as president in September due to what it called an inappropriate business relationship on his part, rather than illness as was stated originally.
