India's Jaiprakash June cement shipments up 65 pct

MUMBAI, July 1 (Reuters) - India's Jaiprakash Associates said on Thursday cement shipments in June rose 65 percent from a year earlier to 1.33 million tonnes.

The engineering and construction firm, which also has interests in hospitality and power, has capacity to produce 19.1 million tonnes of cement a year.
