The last trading date of Denway, a car making partner of Japan's Honda Motor Co Ltd, was Aug. 16. The company will be delisted on Aug. 25 after a court hearing on Aug. 24, a company spokeswoman said.
Denway obtained approval from shareholders in July for the privatisation, which will pave the way for the listing of Guangzhou Automobile, the country's sixth-largest carmaker.
Trading in Guangzhou Automobile shares will start on Aug. 30 under the stock code 2238.
