KIMBER ANNOUNCES EXTENSION OF WARRANT EXPIRY DATE

VANCOUVER, Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kimber Resources Inc. (NYSE AMEX:KBX, TSX:KBR) announces that it has extended the expiry date of the warrants issued in connection with its private placement financing which closed on September 24, 2008 ("the Warrants"). The expiry date of the Warrants to purchase 1,997,459 common shares at a purchase price of $C1.80/share currently expiring on September 24, 2010 has been extended to September 24, 2011.
