NEW DELHI, Jan 8 (Reuters) - India's exports in December provisionally rose an annual 36.4 percent to $22.5 billion, Trade Secretary Rahul Khullar said on Saturday.
Imports for the month declined 11.1 percent on the year to $25.1 billion, Khullar said.
India's trade deficit in December narrowed to $2.6 billion from $8.9 billion in November.
Khullar said December's trade deficit was the lowest in the last three years.
Asia's third-largest economy is targeting close to 15 percent export growth in the current fiscal year.
