BERLIN, April 15 (Reuters) - Wind generated power will be at the forefront of a German push to boost renewable energy as it shifts away from nuclear power, Environment Minister Norbert Roettgen said on Friday.
'Wind energy will be the main pillar of renewable energy in Germany,' he told a news conference after meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel and leaders of Germany's states.
