WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - The Shaw Group Inc. (SHAW) announced Monday an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, or USACE, to provide environmental and restoration services for the Louisville District. The company noted that it is one of five firms picked to compete on contracts with a total value of approximately $225 million and a base-period of two years, and including four two-year options.
Further, it is expected to provide munitions response and project services for hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste. Shaw may also conduct remedial investigations, environmental analysis and compliance, ecosystem restoration, environmental dredging, operation and maintenance and emergency response activities.
