WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Informatica Corp. (INFA) reported that its fourth-quarter GAAP net income was $42.4 million, up 23 percent from $34.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2010, and GAAP net income per share was $0.38, up 19 percent from $0.32 per share in the fourth quarter of 2010. Non-GAAP net income for the fourth quarter of 2011 was $53.2 million, up 24 percent from $43.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2010 and non-GAAP net income per share was $0.47, up 21 percent from $0.39 per share in the fourth quarter of 2010. Total revenues for the fourth quarter of 2011 were $227.1 million, an increase of 15 percent from $198.0 million in the fourth quarter of 2010. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.44 per share on revenues of $226.25 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
