OTTAWA (dpa-AFX) - Canada-based Saputo Inc. (SAP.TO) reported third-quarter net earnings of C$129.8 million or C$0.64 per share, compared to C$112.1 million or C$0.54 per share in the previous year quarter.
On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn C$0.64 per share. Analysts' estimates usually exclude one-time gains and losses.
Quarterly revenues improved 17.1 percent to C$1.80 billion from C$1.54 billion in the comparable quarter last year, while three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated revenues of C$1.76 billion.
