WOLFSBURG (dpa-AFX) - Volkswagen AG (VOW.BE, VLKAF.PK, VKW.L) is considering to expand production in Malaysia, Bloomberg reported citing people familiar with the matter.
According to the reports, the company has also sent off senior executives to brush up Proton Holdings Bhd.'s operations for a potential partnership. The executives are viewing whether the plants are equipped to produce VW models since the company is considering to create a production hub in Malaysia.
