LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Extending its previous session's downward trading, the British pound declined further against the US dollar in New York afternoon trading on Friday. At present, the sterling is trading near a fresh multi-day low of 1.5733 versus the greenback, which may be compared to Thursday's close of 1.5819.
The pound also slipped further against its Japanese and Swiss counterparts and currently trading near 122.12 and 1.4435, respectively.
