WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Questar Corp. (STR) reported that its fourth-quarter net income attributable to the company totaled $61.6 million, or $0.34 per share, down from $63.7 million or $0.36 per share for the fourth quarter of 2010.
Total revenues for the quarter declined to $354.8 million from $362.7 million in the prior year quarter.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.33 per share on revenues of $356.83 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company affirmed 2012 earnings per share guidance of $1.15 to $1.19 per share. Analysts expect the company to report earnings of $1.20 per share for fiscal 2012.
