WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Sapient Corp. (SAPE) reported fourth-quarter net income of $27.2 million or $0.19 per share, compared to $15.7 million to $0.11 per share in the prior year quarter.
On a non-GAAP basis, net income for the quarter was $32.5 million or $0.23 per share, up from $19.4 million or $0.14 per share in the comparable quarter last year. On average, eleven analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.16 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
Total gross revenues for the quarter was $272.97 million, compared to $232.51 million. Analysts estimated revenues of $262.51 million for the quarter.
