WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - World Fuel Services Corp. (INT) Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $50.1 million or $0.70 per share, compared to $39.4 million or $0.56 last year.
Adjusted net income for the quarter was $57.4 million or $0.81 per share, compared to $44.1 million or $0.63 last year.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.69 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
Revenues for the quarter was $9.32 billion compared to $5.82 billion last year. Wall Street analysts on a consensus estimated revenues of $9.71 billion for the quarter.
