WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - USEC Inc. (USU) reported fourth-quarter 2011 net loss of $496.0 million or $4.09 per share compared with last year's $9.0 million or $0.05 per share profit.
Revenue for the recent quarter was $462.4 million, a decrease of 31 percent from $666.4 million in the earlier year quarter. Revenue from the sale of SWU for the quarter was $394.2 million versus $519.6 million in the prior year.
For 2012, revenue from the sale of SWU is expected to be in a range of $1.45 billion and $1.50 billion, or roughly $100 million - $150 million more than 2011.
