LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Victrex plc (VCT.L) in its trading update for the six months ended 31 March 2012, reported 5% growth in its revenues for Invibio Biomaterial Solutions business, and said its sales volume declined to 1,377 tonnes from 1,434 tonnes.
Revenue for Invibio Biomaterial Solutions business for the first half amounted to about £25.5 million, 5% higher than last year's £24.3 million, despite the continuing uncertainties in the US healthcare market, the company said.
Looking ahead, the group said its current order book for April and new business activity continue to be encouraging.
