PEKING (dpa-AFX) - Changyou.com Ltd. (CYOU) Monday released the financial results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2012, reporting net income attributable to Changyou.com of $65.25 million versus $58.40 million reported for the corresponding quarter last year.
Net income per ADS was $1.22, up from $1.10 per ADS reported in the same quarter last year. Non-GAAP earnings per ADS were $1.24, up from $1.13 in the prior-year quarter.
On average, 11 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $1.09 per share. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenues were up to $136.76 million from $104.91 million a year ago. Analysts estimated revenues of $132.14 million.
Looking ahead for the second quarter of 2012, the company anticipates total revenues to be between $139.5 million and $143.5 million, and Non-GAAP fully diluted earnings per ADS attributable to Changyou.com Limited to be between $1.08 and $1.12.
