WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Prologis Inc. (PLD) reported that its first-quarter Funds from operations or FFO increased to $262.07 million from $62.15 million in the year ago quarter. Funds from operations per share was $0.56 for the first quarter 2012 compared to $0.24 for the same period in 2011.
Core funds from operations per share was $0.40 for the first quarter 2012 compared to $0.29 for the same period in 2011.
Net earnings available for common stockholders was $202.41 million or $0.44 per share, compared to a net loss of $46.62 million or $0.18 per share in the same quarter last year.
Total revenues for the quarter rose to $500.06 million from $229.87 million in the prior year quarter.
Prologis re-affirmed its full-year 2012 Core funds from operations guidance range of $1.60 to $1.70 per share. The company also expects to recognize net earnings, for GAAP purposes, of $0.05 to $0.15 per share.
