WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR) Wednesday reported first-quarter net loss of $41 million or $0.36 per hare, compared to net loss of $36 million or $0.33 per share last year.
Revenue for the quarter was $18 million, compared to $11.3 million a year ago.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected a loss of $0.33 per share on revenue of $15.92 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
