LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Rentokil Initial Plc (RTOKY.PK, RTO.L) issued interim management statement for the first quarter.
The company said revenue for the quarter was 624.4 million pounds, up 3.6% at CER.
At CER, pre-tax profit grew 175.9% to 13.4 million pounds and adjusted pre-tax profit rose 1.1% to 26.3 million pounds.
The company stated that the momentum in sales growth generated during 2011 has continued into 2012, with further improvement in organic growth rates and strong performance from its recent acquisitions. Market conditions have generally remained challenging, especially in Rentokil Initial's Southern European businesses. However, Pest North America benefited from relatively mild weather.
For the first quarter, operating cash outflows were 19 million pounds compared to an outflow of 6.9 million pounds in the first quarter of 2011.
