LONDON (dpa-AFX) - Wolseley Plc (WOS.L) Wednesday announced that the Group's CEO for its Nordics and Central Europe region, Steen Weirsoe, will be retiring from the post with effect from 1st August 2012.
The company stated that Steen Weirsoe will be succeeded by Ole Mikael Jensen as the new CEO for the Nordics and Central Europe region. Ole Jensen is presently working as the Managing Director for Central Europe.
The company further added that, on taking up his new position Ole will also join Wolseley's Executive Committee and will report to the Group's CEO, Ian Meakins.
Commenting on the changes Ian Meakins Chief Executive of Wolseley plc said: 'I would like to thank Steen for the enormous contribution he has made to both DT Group and Wolseley since he joined the Company and we wish him well for his retirement. We are highly fortunate to have a successor of the calibre of Ole Mikael Jensen and he brings a wealth of sector and international experience to the role. I would like to congratulate him on his appointment.'
