WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Apollo Investment Corp. (AINV) posted fourth-quarter earnings per share of $0.57, up from $0.55 in the same quarter last year.
The company's net investment income was $0.21 per share for the quarter and net asset value was $8.55 per share as of March 31, 2012.
Total Investment Income for the quarter declined to $85.2 million from last year's $94.72 million.
Additionally, the company said its Board of Directors has declared a dividend of $0.20 per share for the first fiscal quarter of 2013, payable on July 5, 2012 to stockholders of record as of June 14, 2012.
Separately, Apollo Investment said Gregory Hunt has joined the company as its Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
In yet another release, Apollo Investment said it has entered into a new four-year $1.14 billion senior secured revolving credit facility. The Facility matures in May 2016, and includes a one year amortization period beginning in May 2015.
