WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - UQM Technologies Inc. (UQM) Thursday said its loss for the fourth quarter widened from last year, due mainly to higher operating costs, that offset a 61 percent revenues growth.
The Longmont, Colorado-based company reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $1.45 million or $0.04 per share, compared to $195 thousand or $0.01 per share last year.
Total revenues for the quarter surged to $3.77 million from $2.35 million in the prior-year quarter.
For the quarter, total operating costs increased to $5.23 million from $2.56 million last year.
