TOKYO (dpa-AFX) - The Bank of Japan is on Monday scheduled to publish the minutes from its monetary policy meeting on April 27, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. At the meeting, the Bank of Japan decided to add further monetary stimulus to the economy through enhanced purchases of the government bonds.
The BoJ also will release the results of its monthly survey on corporate service prices for April, with forecasts suggesting a decline of 0.2 percent on year following the 0.3 percent contraction in March.
