PARIS (dpa-AFX) - French insurer Axa SA (AXAHY.PK) has teamed up with Facebook Inc. (FB) to further develop its digital, social and mobile sphere in France and wordwide.
Through this partnership, AXA would benefit from Facebook resources, particularly including innovation & analytics teams to help in further developing its brand presence on Facebook, particularly on mobile. Also, Facebook would analyze AXA's communication campaigns' impact on this social network, and its experts would train AXA's marketing and digital teams.
For Facebook, it confirms its aim of building major strategic partnerships with multi-national companies. This partnership is a key step to developing Facebook in France, as it acknowledges the great footprint of the platform in the local market, and its capacity to accompany French and international companies in their digital transformation.
With 27 million active users every month and 19 million daily users, out of which 12 million are on mobile, Facebook is considered to be the first social platform in France.
