VIENNA (dpa-AFX) - Rolls-Royce Holdings plc (RR.L, RYCEY.PK) announced it has been awarded $39 million to support AE 1107C engines for V-22 aircraft operated by the US Marine Corps and Air Force. The Rolls-Royce MissionCare contract, a modification of a prior agreement, includes repairs and support services, with work carried out at Rolls-Royce facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Oakland, California, as well as fleet support at customer bases.
Rolls-Royce said the contract for work in 2014-15 was awarded through the Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland.
