WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Specialized staffing firm Robert Half International Inc (RHI) Tuesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $85.2 million or $0.63 per share compared with $66.4 million or $0.48 per share last year.
Revenues for the quarter were $1.22 billion compared with $1.08 billion in the prior year.
Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.58 per share on revenues of $1.20 billion for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
'Demand for our staffing and consulting services accelerated in the third quarter, with all lines of business reporting double-digit, year-over-year revenue gains,' said Harold Messmer, Jr., CEO of Robert Half. 'The strength in our operations was broad-based and included both U.S. and international locations.'
