RUEIL-MALMAISON (dpa-AFX) - Concession and construction company Vinci SA (VCISY.PK) Thursday reported revenues of 28.43 billion euros for the first nine months of fiscal 2014, a decline of 3.7% from 29.54 billion last year.
On a like-for-like basis, revenues for the nine-month period slid 1.5 percent from a year ago.
Revenues in France fell 3.7 percent, and international revenues slid 3.8 percent.
For the third quarter, Vinci said that revenues fell 7.5% from a year ago to 10.02 billion euros. On a like-for-like basis, revenues slid 5.6%.
Revenues in France fell 7.5%, and Europe revenues excluding France slid 10.8%, while international revenues excluding Europe was up 0.3%.
For fiscal 2014, Vinci continues to expect a marginal decline in revenues on a like-for-like basis.
For Vinci Autoroutes, the company is maintaining its full-year traffic growth forecast of around 2%. Both light and heavy vehicles are expected to post growth, the latter confirming the recovery that began in the 3rd quarter of 2013.
Vinci Airports should continue to see a good growth trend at most of its platforms, and total traffic is now expected to grow by more than 5%.
In Contracting business, the company said that the fall in business levels in the last two quarters should continue, although situations could vary according to business segments and geographical regions.
