PARIS (dpa-AFX) - French car maker PSA Peugeot Citroën (PEUGF.PK) has reached a partnership agreement with business accelerator EuraTechnologies to promote cooperation between the centre's startups and the carmaker on developing digital-related projects.
The partnership is based several joint initiatives targeting promoting exchanges between PSA Peugeot Citroën and entrepreneurs; starting new projects focused on connected-vehicle solutions and mobility services; organizing joint events such as hackathons; and facilitating international exchanges.
As part of the agreement, PSA Peugeot Citroën's employees would go to the EuraTechnologies centre to meet with startups from the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region interested in initiating contact with the Group and be a part of the EuraTechnologies ecosystem. Also, the partnership would give PSA Peugeot Citroën employees exposure to EuraTechnologies' creative and enterprising environment, thus helping them to develop an entrepreneurial culture.
A preliminary nationwide call for proposals to identify new connected-vehicle opportunities would be issued in early 2015.
