BEIJING (dpa-AFX) - China's National Bureau of Statistics revised its 2013 GDP estimate based on results from the latest economic census.
The revised GDP for 2013 was CNY 58.8 trillion. This was 3.4 percent more than the CNY 56.8 trillion estimated earlier.
The primary industry and the secondary industry accounted for 9.4 percent and 43.7 percent of the economy, respectively. This was less than the 10 percent and 43.9 percent estimated previously.
Meanwhile, the tertiary industry accounted for 46.9 percent, respectively, up from the 46.1 percent.
The upward revision will affect the size of China's 2014 GDP but will not affect the growth rate for this year, the bureau said.
