REDWOOD SHORES (dpa-AFX) - Business software maker Oracle Corp. (ORCL) said Monday that it has signed an agreement to buy Datalogix, a consumer data collection company connecting offline consumer spending to digital marketing that helps marketers increase the effectiveness and measurability of their advertising.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Datalogix aggregates and provides insights on over $2 trillion in consumer spending from 1,500 data partners across 110 million households to provide purchase-based targeting and drive more sales.
Datalogix said it has more than 650 customers, including including Ford Motor Co. (F) and Kraft Foods Group Inc. (KRFT).
Oracle shars closed Monday's regular trading session at $45.65, down 35 cents.
