ECHING (dpa-AFX) - Kontron AG (KOTRF.PK, KOTFY.PK), a provider of Embedded Computer Technology or ECT, reported that its EBIT, adjusted for restructuring cost, for fiscal year 2014 increased to 8.8 million euros from 4.6 million euros in the previous year.
Reported EBIT for continued operations was negative 5.1 million euros, compared to negative 29.0 million euros in the prior year.
Revenues increased by 2.6% to 456.8 million euros from the prior year's 445.3 million euros. On Like for Like basis, revenues increased by 7.2%.
Kontron said that 2015 will be all about its growth strategy, to be introduced shortly. Revenues are projected to come in between 490 million euros and 510 million euros, consistent with 2016 revenue target of more than 550 million euros. Gross margin is targeted to be above 25%, EBIT margin - adjusted for one-off items - to be 3-5%.
These targets, too, are consistent with its profitability objectives for 2016 (>25% gross margin, >6% EBIT margin adjusted for one-off items).
