SANTA MONICA (dpa-AFX) - Video game publisher Activision Blizzard, Inc. (ATVI) said that the third installment in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will make its debut on June 2.
The third downloadable content or DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, named as 'Supremacy,' will be available first on the Xbox Live online entertainment network for platforms such as Xbox One and Xbox 360, with other platforms such as PlayStation and PC to follow.
The DLC will be available first on Xbox Live for a suggested retail price of $14.99 on June 2.
The Supremacy DLC Pack is also included in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's DLC Season Pass that features all four DLC Packs planned for the year as part of the discounted bundle offer at a suggested retail price of $49.99. This represents a discount of $10 off the individual purchase of all four DLC Map Packs.
The third DLC pack comes from Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard and Sledgehammer Games.
The new expansion pack brings with it a selection of four new multiplayer maps that takes players across the globe and also includes the continuation of Exo Zombies. All maps will feature the new Exo Grapple mechanic.
The four new multiplayer maps include Parliament, Kremlin, Compound and Skyrise. Parliament sets the battle on a military cargo ship on the river Thames, while Kremlin is set among the war-torn buildings of Red Square in Moscow.
Compound is a small, symmetrical map set in an Atlas training facility in the Colorado wilderness, while Skyrise takes place in an Atlas Skyscraper overlooking the Acropolis in Athens.
Skyrise is based on Modern Warfare's 'Highrise' map that brings new exoskeleton mechanics to the classic multiplayer layout, and will see the game transported to the year 2054.
The Exo Zombies saga continues in the all-new episode, Carrier. Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness, Burn Notice) will join in as the fifth character in the next chapter of the Exo Zombies Saga, with the all-star Hollywood cast of John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal.
In Carrier, the four are trapped on an Atlas aircraft carrier. Carrier features advanced new weaponry, enemy Atlas Strike teams, Sentinel support squads, and a host of new Zombie enemies.
'This is not only the four new multiplayer maps, but the continuation of the popular Exo Zombies saga. We're huge fans of Bruce Campbell, and to be able to add him to the already great roster of performers in Exo Zombies takes this to a new level,' said Glen Schofield, co-Founder and Studio head, Sledgehammer Games.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC is developed by Sledgehammer Games with additional development by Raven Software and High Moon Studios.
