PARIS (dpa-AFX) - Veolia Environnement (VE) reported that its net income attributable to owners of the Company for the half-year ended June 30, 2015 significantly increased to 352.7 million euros from 131.1 million euros in the half-year ended June 30, 2014. On a per share basis, net income was 0.51 euros, up from 0.12 euros in the previous year.
Current net income attributable to owners of the Company was 321.2 million euros , compared with GAAP 178.0 million euros last year.
EBITDA increased 10.6% to 1.531 billion euros compared with re-presented pro forma 1.384 billion euros in the first half of 2014.
Revenue for the period increased 7.3% to 12.318 billion euros from compared to represented 11.482 million euros for the first half of 2014. It was up 3.3% at constant exchange rates.
On a pro forma basis, revenue increased 2.6% (-1.3% at constant consolidated scope and exchange rates) compared to 12.010 billion euros for the first half of 2014.
The Group confirmed its 2015 objectives.
