MUNICH (dpa-AFX) - German commercial vehicles maker Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg or MAN SE (MAGOF.PK) Wednesday said its board decided to apply for cancellation of the listing of the shares in the Prime Standard and a transfer to a General Standard listing.
The common and preferential shares of the company are currently listed for trading in the Regulated Market at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as well as the Prime Standard segment with its additional transparency requirements.
The company believes that changing the stock market segment will open up the possibility for MAN to reduce the additional expenses linked to the Prime Standard.
The withdrawal of the listing becomes effective three months after the publication of the withdrawal decision by the Management Board of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on the internet.
The withdrawal has no impact on the listing on the Regulated Market.
