BRUSSELS (dpa-AFX) - Destatis is slated to release final German consumer price data for September in the pre-European session on Tuesday at 2:00 am ET. Final inflation figures are expected to match the flash estimate. According to initial estimate, consumer prices remained unchanged and harmonized prices dropped 0.2 percent annually.
Ahead of the data, the euro rose against its major rivals.
As of 1:55 am ET, the euro was trading at 0.7421 against the pound, 1.0947 against the Swiss franc, 1.1370 against the U.S. dollar and 136.31 against the yen.
