WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Dun & Bradstreet (DNB) released earnings for its third quarter that rose compared to the same period last year.
The company said its bottom line advanced to $66.9 million, or $1.84 per share. This was up from $64.8 million, or $1.78 per share, in last year's third quarter.
Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.67 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 3.9% to $406.2 million. This was up from $390.9 million last year.
