UNTERFOEHRING (dpa-AFX) - Kabel Deutschland Holding AG (KBDHF.PK), Germany's largest cable network operator, Monday said its second-quarter net profit grew to 81 million euros or 0.91 euro per share from 67 million euros or 0.75 euro per share in the second quarter of last year.
Revenue grew 7.3 percent year on year to 536 million euros. TV Business revenue edged up 0.1 percent to 294 million euros, while Internet & Phone Business revenue climbed 17.6 percent to 242 million euros.
Total blended ARPU per subscriber advanced 7.9 percent to 19.59 euros. Internet RGUs jumped 98 thousand in the quarter.
Based on further expanding its Internet & Phone customer base as well as upselling its Premium TV products with a strong foundation in the TV distribution market, Kabel Deutschland said it is well positioned to achieve continued growth.
The company's guidance issued in May is for mid to high single-digit revenue growth compared to fiscal year 2014/15, and mid to high single-digit adjusted EBITDA growth the prior year.
