WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Customers of Time Warner Cable in Midwest experienced outages that lasted around two hours on Monday evening, as Americans were busy making their last minute online purchases on Cyber Monday.
The outage started just before 8 p.m. ET and the disruption affected a large portion of the Midwest, including Green Bay, Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington.
Meanwhile, Time Warner Cable approached customers directly via social media, including Facebook and Twitter, informing them the company is aware of the outages and is working to resolve them.
