WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Humana Inc (HUM) released a profit for first quarter that retreated from last year.
The company said its bottom line declined to $555 million, or $1.86 per share. This was lower than $770 million, or $2.58 per share, in last year's first quarter.
The company said revenue for the quarter fell 0.2% to $13.80 billion. This was down from $13.83 billion last year.
