KASSEL (dpa-AFX) - K+S Aktiengesellschaft (SDFG) announced the company expects, on the basis of preliminary figures, its EBIT I results to around 10 million euros in the second quarter 2016 compared to 179.2 million euros, prior year. The Group said the reasons for the deviation are a significantly lower average selling price in the potash and magnesium products business unit and unexpectedly high production outages due to the limited deep-well injection permit for liquid residues at the Werra plant.
K+S Aktiengesellschaft will release the complete half-yearly financial report on August 11, 2016.
