WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Northern Trust Corp. (NTRS) revealed earnings for second quarter that decreased compared to the same period last year.
The company said its profit dropped to $254.9 million, or $1.09 per share. This was lower than $263.4 million, or $1.10 per share, in last year's second quarter.
The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.8% to $1.32 billion. This was up from $1.26 billion last year.
